On iPhone, Apple provides beacon ranging through the Core Location framework. That is why Gratuitease requests location permission for nearby worker discovery.

What may be recorded
Transaction location and proximity events may be recorded for payment security, support, fraud prevention, and business analytics. The Privacy Policy governs the data that is actually collected and retained.

Permission and discovery
If the required permission is disabled, nearby beacon discovery may not work. Permission copy in the app, App Store, and website must remain consistent with actual product behavior.
