Workers start an earning session once at the beginning of a shift. The way discovery continues depends on whether the worker uses free iPhone mode or a wearable.

Tap Start Earning, then lock the phone while working. When the customer is ready to tip, unlock the iPhone with Gratuitease open so the existing earning session resumes broadcasting. You do not need to tap Start Earning again for each tip.

Tap Start Earning once. The wearable stays discoverable while the phone is put away, making it the most frictionless option during active service.
03
End the earning session when the shift is complete so you are no longer presented as an eligible active worker.
